Sai Surya Developers, a real estate firm based in Hyderabad, has been implicated in multiple allegations of fraud and misconduct. The company’s owner, Kancharla Satish Chandra Gupta, faces accusations of defrauding numerous buyers by failing to deliver promised properties and misappropriating funds.
In one notable case, a group of investors collectively invested over ₹3 crore in the company’s “Green Meadows” venture in Shadnagar. Despite assurances of plot registrations within months, the investors discovered that the plots had been sold to third parties without their consent. This led to a formal complaint and subsequent legal action against Gupta.
Additionally, the Telangana State Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TSRERA) imposed a penalty of ₹25 lakh on Sai Surya Developers for violations under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016. The company was found to have engaged in unauthorized advertising and marketing of real estate ventures without proper registration.
These incidents have raised significant concerns among investors and regulatory bodies regarding the company’s business practices and adherence to legal standards.
