CapitaLand Group Unveils Rs 450 Crore Investment for a 1 Million Sqft IT Park in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Real estate major Singapore-based CapitaLand Group has announced Rs 450 crore investment to develop a 1 million square ft IT park in Hyderabad, which is a big shot for the city’s business and technology face. This was a major announcement following a high level meeting in Singapore between Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu and senior executives of CapitaLand Group led by Gauri Shankar Nagabhushanam who is chief executive and executive director of CapitaLand India Trust Management Pvt Ltd.

Building Hyderabad’s Business Ecosystem
CapitaLand is developing into the upcoming IT park and is part of larger plans in Hyderabad. It seeks to respond to GCCs and blue chip companies’ premium facility demand. For Hyderabad, which has been fast becoming a favourite of global corporations because of its strong infrastructure, progressive government policies and progressive leadership under Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy, this will be a game changer.

  • IT Park Specifications: An 1 million sq. ft. modern IT park that’s all set to cater to high end business needs.
  • Existing CapitaLand Presence: Currently, the company runs three visible business parks in Hyderabad — International Tech Park Hyderabad (ITPH), aVance Hyderabad and CyberPearl.
  • Upcoming Data Center: The city continues to build up its position on India’s digital infrastructure network, with CapitaLand’s earlier announced 25 MW IT load data center set to come online around mid-2025.
  • Redevelopment Plans: This year, the second phase of redevelopment, at International Tech Park Hyderabad (ITPH), is likely to start, with completion by 2028.

Revant Reddy, the Chief Minister welcomed the investment and said it marked a milestone for Hyderabad that puts it at the forefront as a hub for business and technology. This is because the state government’s policies and initiatives, have always attracted global investments bolstering Telangana’s economic landscape.
